Michigan Driver’s License Attorneys
If you have been cited for a drunk driving violation, it is likely that your driver’s license has been subject to a suspension or revocation. If you take action quickly, you can request a hearing where you can fight to hold on to your driving privileges. The Administrative Hearings Section (AHS), formerly known as the Driver Assessment and Appeal Division (DAAD), will hear your case to decide whether you should be able to keep your driver’s license.
You must prove that you are completely sober and do not represent a risk for re-offending. Our Michigan driver’s license restoration attorneys can work to maximize the strength of your case for when you appear in front of the AHS. At White Law PLLC, we understand how important your driving privileges are and we can help you to see that your voice is heard.

Your Fight Is Our Fight
What to Expect at Your Hearing
During your hearing, an examiner will be looking for any signs of continued alcohol or substance abuse. You will need to show that you are sober and do not engage in any dangerous driving activity.
Typically, the AHS will want to see that (1) you have taken steps to manage any previous alcohol related issues and (2) you possess the motivation and ability to abide by the rules of the road. While this may sound straightforward, the majority of people have little experience with this process and are not aware of the many pitfalls which they may fall into. Our driver’s license attorneys, on the other hand, have substantial experience with restoration hearings and can provide legal guidance every step of the way.
Steps our firm can take which may help your case include:
- Documenting any treatment history
- Preparing witness testimony
- Securing police reports and records
- Scheduling a hearing
- Reviewing questions likely to be asked
We’re not just lawyers. We’re passionate advocates who will ensure that your voice is heard and your rights are protected.
